Gisaia provides geospatial intelligence technology and services. Its team of data scientists, engineers, and developers builds solutions for various industries. They also work on R&D projects and develop data processing pipelines. To boost efficiency, Gisaia created ARLAS, an open-source framework for geospatial data analytics. ARLAS is an open-source data aggregation, exploration, and visualisation framework that can be used to develop web platforms for geospatial data analytics.

Gisaia, founded in 2014 and based in Toulouse, France, serves clients globally. They will be supporting the projects’s mission to provide advanced tools for monitoring, reporting, and verifying land-use impacts.

Role in LandShift

Gisaïa, as a member of Work Package 5 (WP5) within the LandShift project, is tasked with developing digital tools that support informed decision-making and policy creation. By utilizing ARLAS and their extensive experience in building scalable geoanalytics solutions, Gisaïa will play a key role in delivering a robust and collaborative web platform. This platform will be accessible to users with varying levels of data analysis expertise, effectively removing any technological barriers.
