ERDN
European Rural Development Network
The European Rural Development Network (ERDN) is an international research association (NGO) based in Poland. Established in 2002, the Network is meant to encompass the leading research centres and stimulate their joint works on the state and paths of the transformation of rural areas in Europe, and in particular in its central, eastern and south-eastern countries. Most of the ERDN researchers are social scientists covering different areas of socio-economic analysis of rural development, agriculture and food systems.
As a member of the numerous international consortia implementing EU co-financed projects we developed an expertise on multi-actor approach and have a vast network of agri- and rural stakeholders in central and eastern Europe where we can support project communication, dissemination and exploitation activities.
Role in LandShift
ERDN is involved in work packages: 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 and we are the leader of tasks T1.1-T1.3. In LandShift our key contribution relates to WP1 and stakeholder engagement for strategic land use. We are responsible for supporting the creation of multi-actor living spaces that are to be operated based on multi-actor approach. We have expertise in building, operating and sustaining multi-actor platforms supporting green and digital transition. We will also be involved in supporting policy dialogue and dissemination of the project results.
